6 Queens Gardens,
St Andrews welcomes you

Explore...

This is a large typical Victorian house in the middle of St Andrews. Queen's Gardens is a lovely tree & garden lined street located just off South Street (opposite Holy Trinity Church) and the house is less than one minute’s walk from the many restaurants/ bars/shops.

Because of its central location it is ideally placed as a base not only for golfers but those visiting the university or exploring the historic buildings and ruins of the town. The Old Course 1st tee/18th green and the iconic Royal & Ancient Clubhouse are all a short walk away as are the town's beautiful beaches - the East & West Sands (remember the classic opening sequence in the film 'Chariots of Fire'?).For wedding groups we are almost next door to the Town Hall & Holy Trinity Church.

Accommodation...

4 large double bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bath/shower facilities & the 4th with a shower room immediately outside. Beautiful and elegantly proportioned drawing room; second living area and dining room leading into kitchen and opening into the rear courtyard. 130 ft private garden with patio seating area & golf practice/warm-up net.

Sleeps 8 in extreme comfort

The property was fully restored/renovated recently and depending on your requirements, it is typically set up to sleep any combination of up to 8 people in great comfort. If required, there is also the option for 2 or, at a squeeze, 3 additional beds which can be used for shorter stays or children.

Last year, for one long weekend, we did, in fact, have a group of 12  Scandinavian guys staying with us although this was definitely pushing the outer limits...even though they didn't seem to mind!

"Everything was absolutely great, the courses were fantastic (Kingsbarns was out of this world) and the house was fabulous."

Private Garden

Queen's Gardens is typical within St Andrews in that many of the houses have a private garden opposite the house. No. 6 enjoys a 130ft garden with patio seating, dining and BBQ area and golf practice/warm up net. This is potentially an important start to the day as several of the courses in town don't actually have a practice range facility anywhere near the 1st tee.
